MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Police Department released a transcript of the 911 call that took place of the night of the murder of a 14 year old boy by Jeffrey Dahmer, revealing new evidence of what happened that night.
The 911 call happened last May and according to the transcript, Milwaukee resident Glenda Cleveland called in and said there was a young boy who was naked and beaten up. Cleveland then made a second call informing police that she believed the young boy, Konerak Sinthasomphone, had been molested by a man, according to the transcript.
The police later identified the man as Dahmer. Dahmer confessed to killing 17 people and pleaded insanity after officers found 11 mutilated bodies in his apartment.
After being arrested, Dahmer, 31, told the police that two officers had been at his apartment two months earlier to investigate a 911 call that Sinthasomphone was a part of. When the officers left Sinthasomphone at the apartment, Dahmer killed him.
A lawyer representing the officers said that they saw no evidence at Dahmer’s apartment that anything was wrong. According to the police report, the officers believed that Sinthasophone was living with Dahmer.
The two officers involved with the investigation of Dahmer’s apartment are currently suspended with pay.
